Nice furniture and great location on the water, perfect for what I was looking for: a nice place close to downtown Portland.

No indoor pool/hot tub, and pool not available in fall-winter.

In need of a renovation.

The hotel looked and felt like a ghost town. It'd surprise me if it had 50 cars in the lot. The public spaces and rooms looked tired - last renovation maybe 10+ years ago? Fortunately, I'm a sound sleeper because the hotel lies under the PDX flight path. I'd call cleanliness suspect - the toilet had some hairs on the seat. The hotel is an older hotel that had obviously gone through a remodel. The fridge, microwave and coffee maker were located in one side of the closet, limiting how much room there was to hang clothes. We stayed on the 4th floor and, while a great view over the river into Washington, we had long waits for the elevator. Not enough carts when it came time to check out. My wife went to every floor and came back empty handed so it took 5 trips to move our belongings into the car. We purchased a bottle of wine at the nearby Safeway but didn't have an opener. The desk clerk wouldn't allow their only opener to leave so I had to bring my bottle to the desk to open it.
